U.S. Marines with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) conduct a live-fire integrated assault exercise at Bradshaw Field Training Area in Australia. The Marines used a variety of weapons systems including 120mm mortars, M777A2 howitzers, LAV-25 light armored vehicles, SMAW-II rockets, M240G medium machine guns and Browning .50 caliber machine guns. MV-22 Ospreys airlifted Marines in a vertical assault from the USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD-6), more than 300 miles away. The 31st MEU played a major role in Operation Phantom Fury (2004) - the clearing of Fallujah in Iraq. Hypothetically, if the 31st MEU where combined with U.S. air power, they would probably have little trouble defeating any force ISIS could mount against them on the battlefield. 52 MPH heading back in from Georgetown Hole. We had gotten up at 3am to head to the truck. Then drove and hour to get to the boat ramp. This was a ladies day on the boat. I asked Allen Butler, my husband and the captain how fast were we going and he said about 50 MPH. I thought her was kidding but he was not! I looked down and the speedometer was clicking off at 52 MPH. Those 3 300 Horse power Yamaha Motors were quiet. It had been years since I have been offshore fishing. The last boat just got to ruff for me, It would beat and bang you up, I'd feel 2 inches shorter after the trip. This new stepped hull contender boat is incredible. The water doesn't splash you, the boat don't slam down or wobble back and forth. you can see I have my feet propped up and we are all singing and talking an...

Find out why such seemingly positive change has paradoxically projected itself onto our society in the negative form of an increasing suicide rate.
